Section 21(4)(a) Notice
This notice is used to recover possession from a tenant with an Assured Shorthold Tenancy where the fixed term of that tenancy has come to an end prior to the notice being served. The tenant must be given this notice in writing (as opposed to by email) not less than two months prior to the date they are required to leave. Note that the tenant can only be asked to leave on the last day of a period of their tenancy which is usually te day before the rent is due.
