Option to Renew

This clause is for insertion into a tenancy agremeent to allow the tenant to renew the tenancy for a further year on the same terms and conditions.  It includes a proision for the rent to be increased in line with the percentage increase in the Retail Prices Index.  Note that if this clause is inserted in a tenancy agreement then the tenant will have a contractual right to extend the tenancy for a further year irrespective of the landlord's views.
